Chevy Truck rims

Im just wondering has anyone every put 3/4 ton factory rims on there 1/2 ton. I have a 1996 1/2 ton silverado, and im thinking about what it would look like with a new set of 3/4 ton rims and tires on it. With either that same year model like 1996-98 or mabey some of the 06 hd rims. Just wondering if anyone has ever done that, if you have please post pics. Thanks

I don't think the lugs would line up.

you would have to buy a set of adapters to change from a 6 lug to an 8 lug. these can be pretty pricey and run up towards a $100 per pair

Yeah, not worth the trouble of adapting the 6 lug to 8 lug
