How much did that run you? I remember the Royal Cargos being pretty affordable.

Yes I did..and I went with Herculiner because others have said it lasts..Also Gives good traction and will last longer than just paint..

Nice trailer, do you think the "do it yourself" bedliner kit is going to wear good? I am thinking about coating my open trailer with one of the "do it yourself" kits, I have heard mixed reviews some love'em some say it's a waste of time & money go for the Line-x.

I think it will hold up good. I used Herculiner in the box of my s10 and it held up well. It did need a recoat after a couple yrs, but I think that is because I only used half the can the first time, I should of double coated it. After putting on the second coat a few yrs ago I am sure it will hold up forever now. I thought it worked damb good for $75.

This is the first good thing I have heard about the Herculiner I did a search and read numerous posts. I am picking up my new enclosed trailer Friday and I wanted to do the line-X but it was just too expensive. I have already spent 2-K on custom racks, shelves, and upgrades. So I looked into the Herculiner and some others. I just heard he same story over and over. Looked good at first, didn't hold up, then looked so bad everyone regretted doing it to begin with. I would love to hears something good to change my mind.

Well granted the s10 box was painted steel and not plywood, so I cant directly comment on how well it will hold up on plywood, but it did a good job on the s10 box. I put it on the weekend I bought the new truck, and i only had a couple little spots that peeled a little bit. The only reason I had those spots was because I didnt rough up the paint at all like I should of. (your supposed to lightly sand the paint to give the Herculiner something to stick too. The couple peel spots I had were about 1/2" wide and an inch or 2 long. When I recoated it after a few years I just made sure to hit those spots really thick to toughen it up in that area.

If I were to buy a new truck, would I do it again? Probally not, I would go with spray in. But would I use it on a trailer floor? Yep, in a heart beat.

BTW: Herculiner is much softer then spray in liners, its more of a rubber based product.

Ive heard good things about hurcliner in relation to pickup beds aswell however I dont know about the plywood application. Im thinking about doing it for my trailer. Hurculiners main enemie is sunlight, which the inside of the trailer does not have. If it did get too hot though id be worried about it getting sticky as the trailers can get hot.

Cheers
Jeff

I did want it and didn't..What i don't like about them is it make it easier for them to get stolen..Since they can just unbolt the coupler..Other than that i did want it..

Duramax,

You just blasted someone about a week ago for paying too much money for a trailer and said you paid $5045 for yours, but now you say it was over $5500. So what was it Mr. King of trailers and of course you can get them cheaper than any other person on here.:hammerhead:

You had me excited there in the first few pics, thought maybe you could get an unfinished trailer and do the rest yourself. LOL, very nice. 18ft would do me perfect, and would end my garage space delema. Thanks for sharing. Ill keep saving my money for one in the near future.

Buddy show me where is said that..I posted that price whithout the options, and yes you can get it for that price without the 5,200lb axles, Led lights , extra set of lights, 48" side door, extended tounge, An no vents. Trust me I priced almost every brand with the same options and this was by far the best price!..:dizzy:
