Spent the last few days getting the trailer ready, started by pressure washing the deck, then stain. Next I sanded primed and painted. Thought you would like to see. Please no comments on the color. I like it thats all that matters.

Very nicely done, top to bottom. I also think that color aint all that bad. I have never, ever, seen a trailer tongue like that one in the photo.

Thanks! Alot of hard work. The color is Kubota orange. Seems like everthing I have is orange, Kubota, stihl, husky. If annything it should be safe. Threw some LEDs on er to.

Yeah, you dont see them to much, Trailer sits nice and level right off the truck, tows great. Has to be quite a machine to bend that square tubeing like that. Thanks

Yup. Were going to start to do deliveries for them on our free time, that was the whole idea. Just need some 20 s for each side.

Looks good not like every other black and red one on the street...just wondering where you got the paint and how many coats you put on..also...did you just sand it by hand?

Thanks guys, I sanded it with a palm sander and 80 g paper, and the small tight areas by hand. I got the paint from an automotive body store, the paint 2 quarts, hardener, and reducer cost 120.00. They mix it right there.

It will be easy to see, should catch some eyes, and thats what I was trying to achieve, something different like lawnboy said.

That trailer is almost 10 yrs old. Hope to get another 20. I dont ever take it out in the winter, the salt around here eats em up.

That is very nicely done. i too believe in repainting everything over the winter. i wish i knew how to paint with a spray gun like you are doing. Very very nice!

Is that your shop or where was that done at? Do you have exhaust systems in the shop to remove excessive fumes while spraying?

Congrats!

Great looking trailer.

Throw a couple rows of horizontal supports on that gate. It will make the mesh last longer. ;)

Yeah, allready replaced that mesh once . The decks on the mowers catch some times.

Man,...I never saw this thread. That IS one nice trailer! I really like the tri-rail design of the sides. The tongue speaks for itself, let alone the fact it is a wrapped tongue - going under the trailer.

I really like that color. I'd go black or gray on the wheels though.

No I have not, I like to be able to get onto the trailer from any point without going to the rear.
