This is what I'll be using for 08'. I still need to get sides put on my trailer so it would be as tall as the ramp. Anyway here's all my stuff.

Scott, Why do you have a bungee cord holding up the discharge chute on the Phazer? Not a bad little line up ya got.

Looks good! Good luck this year! I really can't get enough of your 32" Stander, I can't wait for my 34" Everride Scorpion FX to come in. The small standers just look so versatile and manuverable.

Wow, that is a lot of mowers for a one man show. I feel overwhelmed with two push mowers. One is on it's way out.

So do you have anybody helping, or is it just you?

It is a great little mower. It almost makes me not bring a 21" when I cut. It cuts great but doesn't have the power to mulch like the phazer with the 19hp.

It's a great combo if I do a tight small lawn I grab the stander, if I have a big open lawn I grab the phazer and their widths are almost the same so both are good for gates.
Thats a nice setup good luck in 2008. Do you also have a truck and trailer if you do can you post some pics please. Thanks
I use my dad's 07 f150 to work with. He works for me so we use his truck. I am looking really hard to find a decent used truck now and at the end of the year I want to get a new toyota tundra or nissan titan but need some more green first.payup
looks good. what happened to that 2nd snapper?
I sold it. I needed to get rid of at least one of those unproductive 21"s.

Looks good, I like the stander, good luck this year
Thanks. I was really going back and forth on getting a larger z or sentar but can't justify buying it because my properties are smaller and I think it would be a waste to use it on only two big lawns I have. So this setup is fine. I have a 5X12 open trailer right now that I will probably keep and get sides fabbricated on it. It will look great. I'll take pics of it later.

Who owns the fence?

Looks like you got 2 of almost everything which is good so you can have a backup if needed. Do you have payments on anything or was it all bought outright?

It's our fence and it hasen't been fixed yet from the 05 hurricane:cry:

I had other equipment that I sold before some of the stuff I have now like the toro 32" w/b, toro 21" w kawasaki, and stihl kombi. And everything I have is paid cash. I think all the stuff I bought from when I started has to be about 15,000 or more. I'm selling the echo back pack, a guy is coming tomorrow to buy it.

which do you think is the overall better machine? yoiu mentioned the poor mulching performance on the stander earlier, do you think the stander with a 19hp would make them equal mulching machines?
I just went and looked at the stander rh yesterday and they want $6650 out the door with a mulch kit installed (baffels only, stock blades) with a 17hp kaw. that is much more than the phazer at the exmark dealer. I am a first year guy, but i want to get a newer, faster more of a workhorse mower to eliminate all the walking i do daily. i want to have back yard access to all of my properties (about 35 week). so if you had to send me after one machine, which would it be based on performance, ease of use and most importantly cut?
please email me directly if you can at carefreelawncare@charter.net

Thanks
Robert

I think the stander is the overall better machine for smaller lawns. It is closer together so it doesn't scalp, also it has pumps and wheel motors. It could use more hp. I think you'd be happy with a wright sentar sport 36" with the 17hp. Check wrightmfg.com and look at their channel discount partner program.

btw, I sold the echo blower tonight!

My dealer says for an extra $360.00 i can step up to a 19hp motor on the RH model. it comes with a 15 or 17 optional. but after what you say about the phazor and the 19 HP mulching ability i am not sure that that couldnt be fixed with different blades. have you upgraded blades?
I am just having a really hard time trying to convince myself that a $6500 mower is worth it. everything i have read is positive, but that is still all i will be able to invest this year on mowers. I just bought a new honda commercial 21 inch that im not sure i really like yet (too slow!) but it should last a long time and gets great gas mileage! I am going to demo the 36 RH on monday. for about a thousand more i could get the midmount z and mow at 13 mph instead od 7.5! but anything beats the hondas speed. 4.5 mph hardly! sure feels slow!
I am curious to know what anyone else recommends for an investment small property mower that will fit in back yard gates and cut rye grass well with out all the elephant turds left on the lawn! my toro 32" is just a brush hog and makes too much mess. the honda 21 bogs down and leaves a mess too. i have 4 yards still that have that damn rye grass and it just will not die!!!:hammerhead:
any feedback will help,. i plan on a new mower next week!
Robert

I would get the phazer if you don't want to spend too much. It gets the job done and is still a great mower and is commercial.

I have new pics coming soon. The stander was sold because it was too heavy and underpowered and was a major pita too change deck heights. Also standing got old fast. I did buy it used and was able to get more out of it than I paid. I also got rid of the two toros and traded them on a new exmark version 21" with the nicer controls and no kickers. I still have the res. snapper. And have the lazer z 46" which is very productive on larger and most small lawns and I picked up a used phazer for gates. So that's what I'm using now. The redmax ebz7001 is up for sale if anyone is interested.

I like your 46" Lazer. Wish I went that way instead of the Toro Z. I think your deck is way better than my SFS 44" Too bad it wasn't out back in 2005.

Don't bash your toro that fast. My triton with mulch kit isn't working too well for me now. I'm going to have my dealer look at.

What dealer? Pauls? I go to Bob's on the eastbank and paid $5999 for my 46". He has the 52" hp with the trivantage but I think it runs for 6500.

What's wrong with the triton? I thought they rock on St Augustine. We can do a trade lol.

I just dont like the design of my deck. Its not as tough as yours. Also not as deep either.

When I cut shady grass the mower misses a lot. Also when I stop and turn I leave clumps of grass when yards are long.
