That bulb was a stray, a squirrel put it there:) That Jap is 20 years old and is my favorite tree in the yard. Made me sick when it looked like crap all year last year.

That bulb was a stray, a squirrel put it there:) That Jap is 20 years old and is my favorite tree in the yard. Made me sick when it looked like crap all year last year.

I feel you there. I have a green Japanese Maple, and I thought I lost it last year. I cut all the dead from it, but it has came through and already had folage on it now. Shewww, a friend of mine estimated mine around 600 to 700$. I couldn't imagine how much that one is worth....

what height did you cut that lawn at? Looks like its more than 3 inches?

High as a Walker will cut! I think it's 3.5". Looks like it's scalped when I cut 2.5 inchs off per week:dizzy:
Hooked up irrigation to well water today so it should get better. That city clorine don't seem to help.

That is one hell of a Jap Maple you have there my friend...
That tree on it's on makes the landscape.
Looks like you'll have some nice properties...
