WTB cheap truck in MN

I am in Saint Paul MN, and I am looking for a cheap truck ($1500) because I dont want to dump much more into something, because I want to buy a newer truck in two years for plowing. Its been quite an ordeal so far. Anybody in the area have anything?

I worked for a remodelin Co. in Moorhead here who has a f150 for sale i believe. It is a manual, reg cab, long box, has a ladder rack. I have drove it before and its a real nice truck for the year. I cant remember the year however. I think they are asking around the 1500 oe 2000 range but maybe cheaper I dont know. If you are willin to drive the distance and want more info let me know and ill get you a number to call about it.

My roomate is selling a truck for that price. It is a one ton reg cab Chevy. He bought it to plow but wants a newer truck. It has a mount for hinker plows. He may include the wiring harness. It is an 84 but has the trusty 350 and has 4x4. Put new exhaust on it this year. Let me know if you are interested. I am located in Oakdale.

The F-150 sounds better to fi me size wise, but the odds of getting a chance to go up to look at it not real good, I need my dad to approve of everything, and a drive like that wouldnt be possible, but if I had more info and maybe some pics, I could think about going up that weas and meeting somebody.

I would also like more info on the Chevy, a 1 ton is pretty big,:weightlifter: gas hog, more $$ to fix, is it a 6 or 8 lug? But its right here in town and I more than likely could go see it. If possible,, could I get a pic from either of you, because like I said I need my dad to go with, and if I had a pic, it would be easier to get him to go look.
