Help with flier

I called office max, and a kinkos, and was quoted $200 for 400 color copies plus more $ for using yellow paper, so I went to the local print shop, and was told what I want really isnt a color copy, just yellow paper with green print. I have a grass pattern on the bottom, and he said its not different shades of green, just green spread out more in spots and thinner in othershe wants me to set it up with 50 to 100 dots per inch, I have no clue how to do this. I hope you understand what I mean. He said it would be $35.75 plus tax, should I figure it out or go to office max and see what they can fo for me? Any of you know how to set up dots per inch?

They should have someone to sit down with you and help you put it into their format or dot per " ratings. I know the big names for prints and copies are over priced. I had to get some new business cards printed, and there was a guy getting some black and white copies for the same price per page as I was getting full color at my local print shop. Just take a min or ask them when theres some time for them to tell you what they need and tell them what programs you have to work with. They may have a designer which may work out well. best of luck hope helped
