I am having trouble with my echo 4600. Every time I give it full throttle it seems to almost die out. I messed with the adjustment and it worked fine at home, got out on a job and it did it again. Then i couldn't get it to stop doing it. Anybody know about the adjustment and where they should be???

Could just be starved for fuel. How long has it been since you replaced the fuel filter?

Fuel filter will be in the tank. Pull the carb off and tear it down, sounds like theres trash in it. There is a small screen that if it gets a little bit of trash won't let it rev up.

Take it to a local repair shop.

I have given them so much money as it is this year I was trying to stay away from them. hahaha!!! Also in the mean time I was messing around with it some more, and I noticed the silver cap on spark plug porclin wasn't tight, it kept viberating loose. Think that could have been the problem??? Although now I will probably have to fiddle with the adjustments again.

If you have a long set of needle nose plyers or extra long tweezers you can pull it out of the tank and replace it. If you don't do much maintenance work, take it to your service tech.
