New Grass!

I just recently moved into a new home. The grass in my yard has some bare spots and alot of daisies. I put down some Scotts Turf Builder about two weeks ago and it has thicked up some. When should I put down the weed control and what type seed do you suggest growing this time of year? Please help?

The first thing is you cant put down a weed control and seed at the same time, they have to be about 8 weeks apart. I personally would wait to seed and aerate in the fall. If you get a weed control with out any fertilizer you can put it down now or you can wait until end of may beginning of june and get a weed n feed. If you put weed n feed down now you risk burning your grass.
