The rebate on Pre-m is .75 per bag if you qualify. Minimum of 4000 lbs or 80 bags of 50lb product.

Had breakfast with my supplier yesterday. If you qualify? That sounds like Lesco talk. You guys still use pre-M? Do you use split Apps to get the logetivity of Dimension? Just curious.

Check your prices on Dimension they are starting to come down and compete with Pre-M. The Dimension is much more effective and not nearly as messy.

:blob3: hey guys used pre-m for years and swithed to dimension this year with great results, even if you a a little late with your round you will have post emergant control up to the 1st tiller, and ony one app needed. if your not sure what to do do 50% of your accts with pree-m and 50% with dimension and see what happens T.

I've used pre-m for years, but switched to Dimension this past year primarily because I didn't care for the yellow mess. I have been doing two applications of pre-emergence herbicide. One in February, and again in April.

My question is this? What exactly do you mean by split applications of pre-emergence herbicide?

Thanks, Bill!

Since Pre-M has a somewhat short life span two applications were an option. If you opted for two seperate apps. less active ingredient was used. This was termed a split app. With dimension if applied close to germination time you are covered til mid to late summer(depending on rain and amount of sunlight received). I'm sure if you are doing two apps of dimension you have no problems with breakthrough. But you may have seeding problems in fall if needed.
