Homeowners, what's your water bill? and how many gallons do you use?
where do you live?
how often do you water?
how long do you water?
how big is your lawn?

I have a well so there for no bill other than the electric to run the sprinkler system. I have been running the sprinklers everyday since late March, I useualy adjust my watering when all the tree leaves come in and shade the yard a bit. I then adjust each zone and then I set it back to 3-4 days a weeks. I also adjust watering when mushrooms start popping up.

you can get a separate meter for out side water, and not pay sewer on that water.
sewer is 70 % of a 'water' bill

at my house
no meter for outside source
$3.25/1000gal for water and sewer is the same amount but is only 70% in the summer time.
Regions vary, but one city about 5 miles aways only pays $.95/1000

My water bill is about 25 a month. We are currently in a drought and have been asked to conserver water for about the last year. We have done such a great job of conserving they are now raising the rates since they are not making enough.
outstanding.

I drink a case of beer and use "recycled" water. That way I can sleep well at night, knowing I'm doing my part for the environment.
Just watch out for nitrogen burn...

I hear ya, you can never get ahead. I just replaced all my windows with low-e glass, reinsulated everything, new furnace/hot water tanks, the whole works, just to save a bit of gas... and what do they do? dominion gas raises rates 15% like it was nothing.
what time is the revolution again?
