From the bowels of my fleet I have created another monster.
It’s a 1991 – 48” recycler with a nearly new very low hour B&S 12hp IC.
The purpose for this machine is to be a large trimming mower on apartments, condos, or anywhere the discharge of clippings is a pedestrian safety issue.

Mr. Stone,
Where do you find all of these machines at?

Uh...Shouldn't that be "FrankenX"? Or have you backed off of that?

What have you created?
That's an out-of-the box Toro machine that is no longer in production:
It cut poorly.
Dedicated mulcher allowed for no bagging/discharging.
The 3 blade design with the 10" center blade was a failure.
The machine is good only for consumer use.
So how many of these "old" walkbehinds do you own now? Why not upgrade to a ZTR? They are much more productive than a walkbehind.

Uh-Okay, isn't it a little underpowered. Good luck with your junkation (opps, I mean creation).

I am curious as to what you actually "created" here. I know nothing about these mowers and wonder what you did to it.

It's actually parts from four different machines.
Did I say it cut as good as a 52?
Read my original message. This machine is to be used for a specific application.
A one time 10 years ago this deck hooked to a 16hp magnum traction unit was the only machine I had and I cut acres with it using a Toro deluxe sulky.
Your consumer use comment is all wet. This is a perfect machine to put some flunky behind for it is indestructible.
You can take a 10 lb hammer to the deck and not make a dent in it.
