I've driven an LCF rack truck. They turn on a dime, handle the load like it isn't even there, good amount of cab room (i'm 6'3). I liked it.

They haven't been on the market that long . The Ford dealers in my area do not advertize them either for some reason.

I have an LCF tow truck for my other business. I like it. But I've had a few problems with it stalling when you engauge the PTO. Long story short- when it was in the shop I talked to the mechanic and he said they've had major engine problems and Ford/International no longer make it. Who knows if thats true, but I really like mine.

i speced and priced one out at the ford dealer, these look like excellent
trucks for the landscape world,
the only down fall is the tow rating is only 6-7k
but the payload capacity is awesome
so i looked at a new 07(leftover) L45 -ac, 488gears, chrome etc...
with a 12' reading dump with the side door
after rebates , incentives etc.. price was 39k
unfortunately Ford credit only offers a best of 4.9%
for financing for these trucks--
almost was a done deal, except this dealer would not give me
anything for my trade-
bummer

Do you need your head examined you gave up a good deal like that because they wouldn't take a trade in.
The same truck here with a dump body on it would be pushing a easy 49,000.

they required i pay a difference of 6500 cash for
the balance on my trade in,
could not swing it
but if i can private sale my truck , iwill be all over it

mine is being leased, it is having a SNG installed, I also have a f750 dump leased. look into it, why sink $ w/ a down payment
