Aloha everyone-
Just awarded a bid that involves drilling out holes in the side of a rock hill. We will be planting succulents such as Agave, Aloe, Crown of Thorns, Desert Roses, and more. We need to plant about 50 plants. They range in anywhere from 1 gallon, to 10 gallon. We are running spaghetti tube to each hole from above. I have a hammer drill with an 18" bit, which will get down pretty far. I want to make sure that drainage is adequate though. Does anyone have any suggestions? Mahalo Nui Loa

what kind of rock are you talking about? volcanic, or something denser?

I'm not sure what kind it is, I think it is a mix of dense calcium deposits and volcanic basalt. It does hold water.
