Id stay away from the 6.5l. Everyone i have seen has been complete junk. Ihave driven many and they dont have mutch power at all.

Don't buy a 6.5 liter my buddy had one and had to put in a new injection pump about as much as he had to change the oil. I think he put in 7 injection pumps before he finally got rid of it.

X3 6.5 were headaches.

The 6.5L diesels are said to be a better engine after 97 or 98. Prior to that, many would have problems and need major work before reaching the 100k mark. I would pass on this truck!

Once it was updated in 97 it was MUCH better...but before that it was a disaster. If you look for a late model 6.5 you won't have trouble.

Had an 94 6.5. Didn't have much problems with it till the starter mount cracked turning it into a 97,000 mile fish reef. Wouldn't suggest one at all
