when it rains do u worry about the runoff from the hill with the mulch? is it ok for dirt to get in the pond?

how does ur filter work? i know its a bog filter with pvc and drilled wholes but do u have a seperate chamber with filters in it or something?

BTW looks nuts....that must have been at least around 30,000 grand

I love how natural it appears with using the natural stones to line it. Nice work.

That has to be one of the best, if not "the" best pond i've ever seen. Excellent design, stone and plant placement. Thats a 5 Star- Award Winner!!! Well done.

Man that is a great compliment ,AM. I really appreciate it. It honestly turned out better than I even thought it could. Picking good boulders to start with made the feature. I waited weeks for new boulders to come into the rock yards so I could pick a few of those. That has to be one of the best, if not "the" best pond i've ever seen. Excellent design, stone and plant placement. Thats a 5 Star- Award Winner!!! Well done.

I had completely forgot about this thread until it got "bumped" back to life. I read all about the renovation and saved the pics to my Landscape file. Absolutely incredible work. I totally agree with what others have said....that being the very best pond I have seen on here. The whole project is a work of art!

Sorry Venture, this design-build is just so damn good that i had to bump it again. I've only had the opportunity to build a half dozen water features to date, but this is the type of project i dream of landing, and would strive to match what you've created. Awesome work!!!!

I don't see a lot of water features I admire- that one is very nice. I love the boulders you have in your area.
