PTO Shaft

Will a PTO shaft for the deck drive from a model 272 fit a model 305D?
I am not familar with the configuration of the 272 model.

From what I can tell, no.
But if you can give me the exact 6 digit model #'s from each mower I can be more accurate.
We made a few models of 272's and 305D's
