The problems started with both the hydros making noise when the mower is running. My mechanic looked at them when he tuned the mower up for the season and said that it was not a problem at the moment and that we would monitor it. Well the noise has not changed but I noticed that when I turn the mower it takes a while to straighten back out. It keeps turning when I let go of the steering levers. I also noticed that the hydros feel less responsive. Has anyone had any problems like this? Thanks

Sounds like the system is sucking air someplace, Have your mechanic go over every hose on the unit and make sure all fittings and any clamps are tight. Also check the filter(s) as well, One can suck air but not leak enough oil to tell.
Good Luck
