Looks to be some very nice small ponds built and posted here so I thought I would post a few of my (larger scale) ponds that I have dug over the years

Thanks, I've been operating heavy equipment all my life, I'm 20 now. The Family business has been going for atleast 30 years.

Ponds, ponds and more ponds!
In the last couple of weeks I've dredged out three silt ponds and turned them into constructed wetlands.

Now I'm kinda curious as to how you took those pics when you are clearly surrounded by all the muck, surely you don't just jump out of the cab and swim for it?!?!

Ahh.... the thing's I'll do to get a good picture! No There's always going to be a way to get to shore. In the picture where the volvo's in the water I had to do the swing on the handrail to the track, walk down the track to the concrete overflow then hop from there to the bank.

the one where I'm sunk to the top of the tracks in the mud I just dig a ditch down to hard ground and walked to the bank, cant tell from the picture though:clapping:

Have you ever got the ex stuck?

I've never gotten one stuck. My grandpa stuck the volvo about 6 months after we bought the thing, had about 500 hrs on it. Machine had about 12" of mud in the cab and the mud was about 1.5' below the top of the counterweight:dizzy:

Took 3 hrs and another excavator to get it out. Only damage was a busted bottom windsheild.

Absolutely gorgeous. I like that you gave it a unique shape instead of just a flat out circle or oval which I see far too many of.
