Hello Listers,
I am Gus Gonzalez and new to the forum. I am in the process of restoring a 1994 10545 Lawnboy. I would like to get a new short block for this mower if it is still available and still possible. The old engine seized when my dad was using it but he does not know why because the fuel mix was done by the book. I know that I can get new piston and rings and needle bearings, but what would be better? Get a short block and get the mower back on its wheels, and then rebuild the old motor, or get the parts and rebuild the old motor. I have seen the parts on ebay under the name of Stein, or Stien, not sure of the spelling, are these good replacement parts. Not sure which route to go. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you all
