Penn mulch anyone use it

Anyone using penn mulch? How do you like it? What kinda spreader do you use? I am looking for a spreader for it but on a very tight budget any recommendations? Thanks

Use your hand and lay it on thick. If the area is too large for hand spreading to make sense, you may want to think about hydroseeding. I have always had good results with it.

Ya, your only other option is a PennMulch spreader. Ask your fert salesman to find you one. BUT, they run around 400.

Tried it once too....Spread it by hand out of the bags with a big plastic cup. I wasn't too impressed either & won't use it when I go to overseed this fall....
