weeds in beds

Could someone please tell me the best way to get rid of weeds like clover and bermuda grass in beds with pinestraw mulch?.Yupon holley shrubs are in these beds. Is there a barrier herbicide for this?

I just edge well, weedeat the weeds low, spray with round-up (I use prosecuter) and it kills them. Spray regular to keep them in check.

A pre-emerge in the early spring will also help.
