Clover is becomming a big problem at my house. I have put down fertilizer, with weed and crabgrass preventer, and the lawn itself is doing much better, but the clover is still there, whats a good way to get rid of it?

Clover indicates that your soil is low in nitrogen, pH
You can let it grow so it adds nitrogen naturally to your yard.
You can add nitrogen, lime, and compost to your yard
It is a good natural nectar source for bee's.
It reproduces by seeds and stolons.

Corrct me if I am wrong. Spraying your weeds with dicamba mixed in the formula is necessary. Look it up, to make sure I am remembering the correct herbicide. I believe the dicamba is necessary to kill the clover.

The tri mix is generally 2,4d for dandelions, mecroprop for clover, and a touch of dicamba for ground ivy.
All 3 work on all the others as well, but each just work better on some things.

You are exactly correct!

2-4,D alone will not take out clover and several other weeds. It takes a combination prouduct to do a good job to control weeds across the spectrum.

I can always tell when someone has been using "weed and feed" or spraying 2-4,D as they always have no dandelions and tons of clover.

Last year I used Strike 3 which covered the whole spectrum. Took care of the clover, of course when I see a patch I always slow down and give it an extra soaking. Most people don't like it around here.

Dicamba is best for clover as said. Speedzone, speedzone southern, and powerzone all contain it.

Will this just fight off the clover and allow the other grass to grow and spread? Thanks.

Manor does an excellent job on white clover.
