I'm just curious about the practice of including mfg. logos in the signature of posters. If I were a mfg. that was paying money to advertise on this site, I believe that I would have a thing or two to say about this practice.

Two questions for the folks who are doing this:

1. Were you among the outraged folks who were compelled to fight the battle of a former moderator when he had pictures lifted from his site to another?

2. Did it even occur to you you that you may be in violation of certain civil laws pertaining to trademark and copyright law?

Inquiring minds would like to know.

Relax man! If that is your brand of choice, and you are that proud of it, then let it be.

Im no lawyer so take what I say with a grain of salt.

Why would they care? Seems to me the guys are doing them a favor. Now if they took a picture of their mower and put their name on it then that would be differant.
They supply t-shirts , ball caps etc so guys can walk around advertizing for free.
What are your points of concern on this?

I have the Hustler logo in my signature because I represent them here.
The company that I am president of represents them in part of this great country of ours.
If this upsets anyone let me know.

Also:
Hustler is a "PAID" advertiser here

I asked them before I put it on.

Also saved the email in case it was necessary.
