Merry Xmas to all-client has 30 year old retention pond as a
feature-water trough in place w/ falls-looks great
water inundated w/ salt water via Tampa Bay during storm
3 yrs. ago-salt water crab, turtles and talapia, and now, an
algae bloom-need any advice on possible eco-safe algae control
or ideas on more water plants-iris, pickerel and lilies are on
the plan for spring-approx. 600K gallon-muck bottom

Arround here we generally use Barley Straw (SP?) to control algea.

I am not certain about "brackish water" but it works quite well on fresh water ponds.

I believe that some of the products Marcie refers to incorperate Barley matts for control.

Good Luck,
