Drainage issues, any ideas?

Just looking for some ideas of what can be done between the houses to make it a little more useable and at the same time help promote grass growth.
The pics don't show the grade very well but it is pretty severe where the houses are the closest together. When it rains it is literaly a river down thru here. This is also the main thruway for getting to the backyard. I was thinking some big o and riverrock as well as some minor regrading.
Any ideas would be great.

Put in a catwalk as a bridge that you can walk on and the grass grows through. Continue to mow.

River rock becomes such a mess. Dig in a culvert or drainage tile if anything.
