Has anyone heard of or used any temporary irrigation systems?? I've seen one called the yard camel. It's basically a battery controlled brain box you can hook up to a house and then run up to 6 hoses from it. I do hydroseeding and would like to set up temporary irrigation so I don't have to deal with customers that can't remember to water their new lawn. Thanks

With no link, attention span is slipping, which may be a good thing.

I think I'll put Yard Badger on the market - sprinklers that will not quit.

That looks like the battery powered timer that you can buy at Lowes. They sell for about $50 w/ (2) valves. Then there's the quick connects for the hoses & the box that it's all in. You should be able to build one for about $150 at the very most.
The best timer I have found for temporary places was from Cummins for $9.99 & I bought all they had. They are the Nelson F5920, but now that I look at the manufacturer's site, they are discontinued, which is probably why they were at Cummins. link (http://www.lrnelson.com/products/models.cfm?SUBCAT=18)They have a few other models that look pretty much the same. I like how easy it is to control once it is set up from the start. I usually set a 4-way valve off the hose bib & then put a timer on each spot, but set the actual time 30 minutes apart so that they don't all run at the same time.

Apparently this idea sounds like a flop. Sorry I didn't know how to make a link.
