THANK YOU! Whole job believe it or not took 2-3 guys about 300 hrs. We covered just about all aspects of overhaul possible and fixed several mechanical things. We also spent time adding all the windows and other accessories

Damn, didnt look too bad in the before pics. Looks mint now. I have a 2000 773 I'm going to have to tear apart, blast and repaint. Will have to save that job for the winter though.

Thanks for all the nice comments. We love doing projects like this. Each winter my guys and I pick one major project to do and then have at it. Thank god for good guys and a place to work. The machine is a 1994. We replaces alot of parts on it including the bucket which was about $900.00 alone, tires 400.00 paint 100.00 pins/bushings 200- interior/seat,windows, stereo, lettering 600- and then the small stuff they nail you on like the push to operate button was 225- ouch! insulation under cab 100- and the back pad was 90- all in all I'd say about $3200.00.

So 3200 in parts, and 300 manhours? 10K or so in total? How many hours on that machine? Was it even worth the overhaul?

I put those on to persuade tree branches up and over the cab instead of into it

Johnny Royale Machine has just over 2K on it. I guess it all depends on how you look at being worth it. As far as the labor goes alot of the hours are mine and as far as my guys go one is salary,so he's getting paid whether he's working on something or drinking coffee. Compared to the price of a new machine I think its cost effective to overhaul at least once. Majority of cost was in the bucket and tires and all machines will need that at some point anyway. Machine should stay pretty good now for a few years aside from some paint and polish.
