I had a Toro push mower that broke down (the transmission ate itself). I borrowed my neighbors rider (craftsman) and now I don't think I can go back. I only have about 1/3 of an acre but the rider will cut my time in half. I don't want to buy junk but at the same time for my small area I don't want to spend a ton.
With that said, are Toro riders any good? I can't find a review for them. They seem to be a little cheaper when compared to Deere, Cub, or Craftsman. I would be happy with a 42 inch rider. I can ask the Toro dealer but that would pretty much defeat the purpose of comparing brands. Big Box stores are useless
