A buddy is starting a LCO and asked me for some startup info. I've been doing it since '97 and it's been a while since I started. What do you recommend for insurance, I told him liability at a minimum? My LCO is an LLC but I'm not sure if this is best for him. What advantages/disadvantages (taxes, liability, etc.) of an LLC vs. different entities? It is going to be him and his brother for now, mostly grass cutting but some tree work also.
