How much to charge for a lawn mowing route?

I have a person who wants to buy my route out but how do i figure what is a good price for the route. People that i talk to have said to charge 6-8 times your weekly gross. Then i wanted to know how to figure in for mulching and other miscelaneous things that i do. Like light landscaping and i have 25 spraying accounts averaging 30000 square feet per lawn. I am looking for some feedback.

I am located south of the lehigh valley. I do roughly about 1000 a week in mowing. Plus i have 30 accounts for spraying. This does not include mulching and the other various maintenance.

the average quote i hear is 2 months worth of mowing, so c. $8000, i guess.... hard time to be selling right now, though
