Nikko Tanaka Engineering U.S.A., Ltd. today announced that Amazon.com has selected Tanaka power equipment as its first commercial-grade handheld outdoor power equipment product line. Currently, over 90 percent of Tanaka's product and accessory lineup are available for purchase through Amazon.com.

"We are excited to be the first manufacturer to provide Amazon.com shoppers with commercial-grade handheld outdoor power equipment," said Jim Elmer, general manager for Nikko Tanaka Engineering USA. "In addition, a good number of potential customers will research Tanaka products on Amazon.com and then go to Tanaka dealers to make their purchase."

From now until June 15, Amazon.com shoppers can instantly save $30 on all Tanaka trimmers regularly priced at $299.99 or higher. Actually Echo and Tanaka both have been available on Amazon.com

Amazon.com has an agreement with AM Leonard and lists some of the stuff amleo sells.....

Just to clarify, Tanaka (81 items) is sold by Amazon.com the seller which means they stock the product in their regional warehouses and customer service is through them.

Tanaka has always been sold by other "merchants" as well, but we have no control over them. They are basically renting space on Amazon.

Yea but who does the service when you buy it on there? Price is one thing but service is more important.
