Can't get the draw bar/ball mount in because the receiver is so rusted! Tried liquid wrench, PB Buster, rust disolving gel, wire brush, wire disk for drill, dremmel bit...
Any other suggestions aside from a new hitch?

Use a disk or belt sander and grind some material off the draw bar/ball mount until it fits. I had the same problem on my old pickup.

Thanks Gene, I'll give that a try. Hopefully that will work.

fluid film before you grind. that way you wont have to grind. i sprayed fluid film on rust and came back an hour later and it wiped off with some elbow grease. pretty impressive stuff IMO

A sand blaster would get the rust off quick like. Spray with Fluid Film every couple of weeks, your draw bar will slide in and out without a hitch......Pun intended.

when i first started the hitch was rusted and we just banged the ball mount in their and droped the trailer on their and the rust broke away from towing

I agree with all of that! hook up to a light post or a tree etc... and try and pull it out that way or a nice 20lb sledge... other then that a new hitch
