Boom Sprayers vs. Truck mounted Units

I was wondering if anyone could make any reccommendation on pull behind boom sprayers. What are the pros and cons versus truck or trailer mounted units other than smaller capacity? I see that they have short hoses and spray guns which seems like you get the best of both worlds. Any comments either way would be appreciated.<p>John
