I am looking for several options for a suspension seat for my Exmark lazer Z and would like the group's opinions.

Option 1
http://www.mowerseat.com/Seats.html This site has the Turfglider suspension seat described as:

"Our premier seat includes the patent-pending
Terrain JockeyTM Suspension System!

- Terrain JockeyTM Suspension attenuates low frequency vibration.
- Contoured back & seat with side bolsters for extra support.
- High resistance foam with Ultra-FreshTM moisture protectant.
- Marine-grade vinyl in 2-tone black & grey.
- Flip-up arms with polyurethane comfort pads.
- Auto-grade hardware & powder coated metal parts.
- Delta 6520 n/o double pole seat switch.
- Heavy duty, low profile seat sliders.
- Standard deck bolt pattern [11" x 11 1/4"]."

Cost 324.00 delivered.

OPTION 2

The Ultra Low Profile Mechanical Suspension by K&M manufacturing that attaches to your existing seat. Suspension travel on this unit is only 1 inch but, I don't know how that compares with my other options. Also, it raises seat height about 2 inches but, I don't know how that compares to my other options either.

Cost $157.00 plus shipping.

OPTION 3

Northern Tools best suspension seat for mowers is supposed to be like the optional seat that you can get from Exmark for a lot more.

Cost $319.00 plus shipping.

OPTION 4

Sell my low hour Exmark and get a Ferris.

Cost A lot but, my back is worth it.

What do you all think??

I guess you've tried airing down the tires to about 8 psi, but if not, that should help some. The Michigan seat from Northern is a very popular mower seat. Out of the other options, I'd probably go with it. I'd like a suspension platform or full suspension seat on my Ferris sometimes.
