About 3 weeks ago I picked up this ford F-250. It's a 2004 extended cab long bed, 33,000 miles and new bed liner. The only down side is that it is a 2x4 but I got a great price for it. It has a bug deflector and some autozone strobes in the grill and a CB radio. I only have 1 picture so far but I will update this thread later Wensday.

Ill get that Wensday before I load up for the day. The explorer held on for a wile but it's time had come. I plan on getting a backrack, mini light bar, 4, 90w hide aways and maybe an air horn if things keep going this well for me. I will not be lettering it up because I want to keep my residential ins policy. They wanted 5000 for a years ins up front which I think is just crazy. can any one my age (17) comment on this. O yea they wanted the 5000 before the policy would start all at once! It is not a fancy truck in any means mannual windows, locks but it sure helps me rake in the $.

Wow, 5k! That's a lot. Mine doesn't change if I get it lettered up. The truck is under my Dad's name, so ins is cheaper.

NO typo here. I fell out of my chair when I got a quote for it. I got him to transfer me to the residential line and the lady there was nice. She was going through all these questions and skipping or avoiding ones that might qualify me for A Commercial plan. So I will keep you posted. I will get more pictures up in a few hours, need to figure out how to re size them.
O yea I was in an accident but it was only at 20mph and not my fault so that should not change things and the insurance is through my dad too I just have to pay.

I was at home depot of all places. I was leaving the parking lot and this lady starts pulling out on me. I honk and then she floors it in reverse mistaking the gas for the break and hits me around my back right tire area. It ended up being 800 and change to repair on her dime.
OK now for a few more pictures by the time I got to it it was dark. I am moving the strobes in the grill back so thay are not as noticible when not in use and all the wires under the CB are now hiden and the strobe controler is attached to the right of the CB.

Nice fod!!!!

Thanks I love it. When I am towing my mowing setup around I can hardly even feel the trailer behind me.
There is 1 downside: I cant fit into my parking spot at school.

17 years old and I pay $7300 comm auto plus $1100 commercial liability per year. Difference is my truck is a 4x4 turbo diesel plus it has all the fancy power stuff and premium options (BOSE sound, climate control, etc). Only thing it doesn't have is a sunroof:cry:

p.s. I had my policy cancelled by my "pleasure auto" insurance company back in early April because they found out I run a business through a newspaper article.

Sweet truck!!

I also bought a F250 about a year after I graduated High school, It still sucks trying to get this beast parked in those little college parking spaces... I guess all the people who need these big trucks are out working instead!

Here's a couple pics on mine

That sucks. When I got the F250 they automatically started asking are you towing, hauling ect. So I will see what they come up with.

I have the biggest student owend vehicle at my school, well other than the sophmore whos daddy bought him the dodge ram 1500. But I am the only one with a 3/4 ton. Its a small 3/4 ton, but its still awesome. Of course there are the days where my friend drives his dads Chevy 3500 dually. But its is dads work truck, so we dont see it much.

I'm right up there with a couple guys. A couple of my buddies have an Escalade ESV and H2 so they're similar for height but not overall size. But on the other hand, a good friend of mine drives a 07 MX5 mazda... I can park over that thing LOL
