Hey guys i've been on this site for a couple of weeks lurking and finally made a purchase...

John Deere z445 48" cut, 25hp kawasaki
John Deere Backpack blower
John Deere Trimmer

I went with the 48 because i have only 10 accounts and they are all residential. I just started this business to get some extra money.(Yes i'm doing it the right way:weightlifter:) I call myself Elite Lawn Care. I like the name but anyways i'm not looking to go big into this, i just wanted to do something on the side.... here is the crappy picture that i took about 45 minutes ago....

BTW, this site is filled with a lot of great information... Thanks

Is that a residential mower? The deck looks stamped, not fabricated.

I'm pretty sure it is residential. But, for 10 yards a week, you shouldn't beat it up too bad.

Nice Equipment.

yeah it's not the 7 iron deck, but i did not want the commercial mower for just 10 yards a week....it does the job quite nicely

Nice stuff. Not too many guys with Deere handhelds, but a lot of green mowers. Let us know how that mower holds up.

Aren't all Deere decks stamped?

Looks like a nice rig, 00pewter. I'm not really big on the JD stuff now, though I used to be. For 10 yards for the next couple of years, that mower will do alright. It's hard to justify a $6000+ mower if you aren't planning on doing this as a career. Although, I did buy my zero turn prior to deciding that lawn care and landscaping would be my career. I think I liked driving it so much, it was hard to imagine getting an office job.

i was a little skepticle at first but it's not bad at all. i really like the blower, it's a little heavy but after you put it on your back it's great. trimmer is very light and edges well. very easy to start overall is 9 out of 10...
