What Type of Mower to Buy

I went onto Gmpas, which is google maps but it also calculates distance. After doing the measurements, I was able to estimate that my average lawn is averaging .15 acre.

In that case, am I better off buying a 21'' mower over a mid-size walk behind (32'')?

Is .15 acre your mowable lawn size or the lot size? If the mowable lawn size, a 36" or 32" WB might be your best bet if no tight gates. But a 21" would certainly work and would be more cost effective.

If .15 acre is your lot size, that is tiny, all you need is a good 21" mower....

all you need is a 21, but a quick 32" would allow you more energy, more yards in the same amount of time, and a better/more professional look.
