Hi guys,

Three years ago I started my own business after working about 5 years in the industry for another local contractor. I started cutting grass, first using my dad's truck (99' F250), and lawnmower. Half way through the season I bought a Kubota zero turn mower. The next season, I got married, so I wasn't able to use my dads truck any more and then purchased a Ford Ranger. After having that truck for about 5 months, I realized it was way too small for my needs, and decided to upgrade to a 98' Dodge 1500 4x4, which worked well for another year. This year, I decided to get out of lawn cutting and focus more strictly on hardscaping, and light excavating. I purchased a dump trailer, and a small skidsteer at the beginning of this year, and about a month ago I purchased a 04 F350 FX4. Here are some pictures of my progression in trucks/equipment.

That first picture, man such beautiful landscape out in your neck of the world. I wish Metairie, Louisiana looked like that.

Thanks for the comments guys! I did sell my Kubota, however didn't bother "selling" my accounts because I only did a handful anyways, so I basically just let them go to buddies I know in the business. I got the skidsteer for 6500, very handy little machine, a lot tougher than it looks too. I love my new F350, its a great truck, I don't use it to its full potential, but I definitely think ill grow into soon enough.
Thanks again guys!

$6500, good price. New or used? I'm looking to add a small skid steer like that next year.

About reply #2, I don't quite know what you mean by how "hard" are the installs, but they're mostly just average backyard landscapes, like 300 to 500 sq ft patios, quite a few walkways and small retaining walls. I'm just a one man show right now so I prefer to keep to the smaller stuff for now.

I got it used with about 400 hours on it. I believe its a 2004. I repainted it when I got it too.

Thanks guys! I do love the skid, but I'm really looking for a Bobcat 463 only because my local rental store rents only bobcat attachments
