I removed about 10 bushes and planted grass, it was a contractors mix with rye and blue grass. It came in great but the rest of my lawn looks like crap. Is it ok to just rake lawn and overseed with a spreader? I have 2 acres and just doing the front yard about 1/2 acre. It would be nice to have similar color grass. I have never overseeded, always start with dirt and not replacing my front yard.
