How about adjusting the max attachment size up to 640?

This way 640 x 480 pics need no resizing.

IHMO it is good netequitte to just put a link to a photo in a text forum such as lawnsite.

Since I have a cable modem I don't care how big a pic you post directly but think of all the folks still using 28.8 and 14.4 modems that have to wait for what might be a stupid pic to them to download.

Also if this site fills up with a lot of pics Chuck is going to have to foot the bill for more server space.

Users with low bandwidth can select under Under options>
Thread View Options>Show image attachments and [img] code in Posts?

Selecting no will show a hyperlink instead.

The photo is still stored on lawniste....hence more space used up.
