Pace Summit enclosed trailer. 2 5000lb axels (upgraded from 2 3500lb axles), ramp in the back and front side, door on the other front side, 2 factory installed diamond plated shelves in the front nose section, Line-X on the floor and ramp and 12 inches up the walls, 2 blowers hangers on the walls at the back, 1 backpack sprayer rack on the wall near the front door, 2 trimmer/edger racks, supports (feet) on back corners drop down to prevent a wheelie when taking off equipment, offset trailer jack in front to allow tailgate to come down while still attached to truck, extra framing supports in the walls, extra layer of wood 12 inches from the top and 12 inches from the bottom, fiberglass roof to allow sunlight in. The paint is champagne. I paid around $8700.00 for it, and used it for 2 years.

I would like $6000.00 for it.

Nice trailer, what happened? Are you getting out of the business?

logan
06-09-2008, 08:03 AM
This business was supposed to be long term. However I found some skin cancer last summer and decided that I needed to leave it. I turned divided it between 2 companies and stopped working it the 2nd week in January.

Nice trailer-looks mint and nicely organized. I especially like the linex floor and the checkerplate shelves, think I'll have it done to my two.

Cancer sucks brother, and I wish the best to you and a speedy recovery. I too just dealt with a skin cancer issue (Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans), and was off work from December to March healing from the 1.5 ft scar on my hip. Did alot of thinking and soul searching during that time period and wondered what I was going to do with my business (among other things).

Turns out the cancer is totally gone, and I didnt require any chemo or radiation. Life goes on...but I appreciate everything alot more now and have realized theres more to life than work and money.

Chase, you ever figure out a way to clean out that 7x14 enclosed?

CALandscapes
06-12-2008, 09:54 AM
not yet.. that's part of the reason I've been thinking about getting a larger enclosed. We're leasing the yard space we have right now, so I'm hesitant about putting any type of permanent structure up; at the same time, though, I need dry space to store different equipment and supplies. I wish I just had the money available to buy a building with yard storage as well...

No offense, but I think its going to be a hard sell for a two year old trailer for 6k.

logan
06-19-2008, 05:38 PM
I would like to be as close to the price as possible. I paid $8700.00 for it with all of the upgrades. I can't believe that it would depreciate over 2700 in 2 years. I has around 15000 miles on it, all suburban driving.

kleankutslawn
06-19-2008, 09:31 PM
6k is alot of money for a used trailer

cpel2004
06-19-2008, 09:45 PM
Logan, bro I agree with you, its a sweet looking trailer. Have you asked your local trailer dealer what he would pay for it?

logan

I have not. I did not even think of it. Thanks. I will.

Liendeni
06-19-2008, 10:56 PM
I agree....I hate to take a dive on money well spent as welll but it is like a new car...maybe only has 1500 miles on it but you sure take a hit when you try to sell it...especially when it is two years old. Just the way it is. Love to have it....even if only to park it until I could use it....but I would need a little better deal. Could pay cash....but not 6K....sorry. Let me know what you bottom price is. Again...not trying to lowball you but there are a ton of used trailers out there...and not many guys are probably willing to pay top dollar for a top fo the line like yours.

They would rather save and get a middle of the road.

Just my opinion.

And besides, my guess is you have to find someone who is big time, which limits your market. Not many guys want to pay the gas to pull a 20 footer around with only one ZTR and some trimmers/edgers. Someone who wants this will need a full crew and all that jazz....really limits your market.

Have I talked you into lowering the price? If not...totally understand but to much unfront money and potential gas at this point.

06-23-2008, 12:32 PM
how wide is that front ramp door please??

logan
06-23-2008, 01:09 PM
It is a 40 inch ramp on the side. It was for my 36 in mower. I had a 60 at the back and a 52 in the middle.

He's not going to go half price on that trailer.....no way in hell. I live about an hour and half from him and if was doing any type of dealing on it...I would have already bought it. I don't think a 50% price reduction is really a fair or realistic request....more like trying to steal it out from under him.

stealing or just shopping...look on ebay right now for several - they are there & for 1/2 price!! I am not trying to steal...if you want to sell it put a marketable price on it or just list it for the moon & everybody can look at the pictures & tell you what a nice trailer it is....that is the bad thing about this site ..... a lot of talking & listing & no selling....it is only worth what someone is willing to give you that day!!! real money!! if your buddy likes it so much then tell him to "show you the money" or shut his money maker!!
thanks

Please don't get too excited. I have a hard time believing that the trailers on Ebay are the same for half the price I am asking. The base price was 5500.00 and all of the upgrades made it 8700.00. The trailers on Ebay don't have the upgrades I made and they don't have only 15,000 miles on them.

Your comparing apples to oranges. He is right...all those upgrades cost money. I can buy a new 20ft trailer in my home town for $4,500 and I can also buy one for around $8,000. The reason they are priced differently is because they are different. Trailers are just like anything else....you get what you pay for.

Again, if he comes down to half price I will drive the hour and a half and be sure to grab this trailer light years before you.

This trailer is not for everyone. When it was new, it was one of the best trailers that I had seen. It was not cheap either. It has only been used 2 years. The lifespan on it is expected to be 15 years of daily use. Some people want a used BMW and some people want a new Camry. I had a trailer without all of the upgrades and without the lawn service specific features that this trailer has. It cost me $3000.00 and lasted 3 years. I wanted a trailer, that essentially costs about 1/2 the price ($1000.00 a year for the first one and $8700.00 for the second one with a 15 year lifespan) and is much better suited to my needs.
