I just watched it on my DVR. As soon as they showed his truck roll up I recognized the logo and yelled for my wife to come see. How cool is that?:usflag:

yep we saw Tommy doing "awsome" up in the tree and showing off his nightorbs. Really wish they had shown the effect but I guess with all the set lights around it wouldnt of shown up much anyways.

I miss all these shows because if it is not in HD I have lost interest.

hard to believe that they can take 16-20 hours more or less of tape, 2 cameras covering 2 days of work, and get it down to 15 min! It is fun doing them though. I have done 4 episodes so far, 2 this season and 2 so far next season. I am just happy i didn't end up on the cutting room floor..LOL

Tommy or anyone,

What are the titles to the Yard Crashers you have been on and will be on? On the on-screen guide I found one that said " Backyard Bar" for example.

Also I caught a show this morning called Hammer Heads i think. After doing a makeover on a backyard they quickly showed some box store lights lit up. My question Tommy is how did you, and will you, get these shows to see what you are doing is far superior to the box kits that are being installed on all the other shows? Correct me if I am wrong but aren't most of these DIY shows sponsored in part by Big Box stores?

Anyone else have an opinion on this? Looking forward to all episodes Tommy! Congrats!

Keith

I did the last 2 episodes of the first season, so that is why you see so much 'big box store' material. I believe that the rest of the lighting in the second season will be done by me, if there is any. Many shows don't have a lighting component. It is very difficult to show what I do because I am not the main event so to speak. So it will tend to be a highlight, but hopefully future episodes will be different. It is a tough nut to crack with these shows. I am trying to get an episode done around lighting, but we'll see. My next and only other episode this season is a week from this Monday June 23. I believe the other episode is the 'Backyard Bar'.

I need someone to send me a copy of these shows because I don't have satellite and therefore no DIY. Tommy, I'll be checking my mail.

Me too please. I'll pay the postage and cost of the tape!

Nice show tonight Tommy. Glad to see they included you a bit more this time. I have to say though, I have heard lighting called a lot of things. "Sexy" has never been one of them. You must be doing something right. Good job, can't wait to see the next one.
