My "uniform" is comprised of an embroidered golf shirt/polo, whatever you call it, and jeans. The shirt is not the problem. The jeans are what kill me. My legs feel like they are in a sauna in the heat we have been having. What kind of pants have yall found that are cooler but still look "uniform"? My shirts are a dull lime green(?) color. I thought kakis but figured they would be just as hot, maybe cooler because of the color, but not anymore airy.

get thin tan kakis. much cooler than jeans and look more professional. or just stop spraying chemicals and then you can wear a thong and sandals. that works wonders for referrals.

well I am out of the chemicals and into the organics so shorts aren't completely out... but again, I want to be uniform for when I start bringing on other guys to work as well. I really need to look into getting some hats too.

LOL JD,

Clapper, carharts have to get expensive don't they? And they aren't too thin from what I have worn so they got to be hot too.

there not to bad, aslong as there the cargo type.

We had them when we had the uniform company, then last Aug, a guy I know who own a carhart store had my size left over..

He had 14 pairs and told me if I take them all he would sell them for $140.00... What a great deal

ive got a local uniform shop where i buy dark blue RED CAP brand work pants for about the same or a few dollars less then dickey brand work pants are sold nation wide . and their better than dickeys imo , ecspecially the button type closure over dickeys metal clasp which tends to wear out . the red caps also come in dark green / grey / black .

and the shop hems them for free so i get them real short , they come up to about 2 inches above the top of my hiking boots , for good air flow + plus they dont get wet as easy like longer pants do from touching grass + plus i can run better with the shorter pants legs . i dont wear shorts because im the full time weed whipper and fly like a tornado with my red max laser beam and the flying debris would rip up my legs .

Generally the kind that go on one leg at a time.......

Try the veal, Im here all week.

I like the heavy duty Dickies Carpenter pants. They get plenty hot but they last long and I can get 'em K-Mart cheap.

Have you seen the videos of people putting pants on both feet at the same time?

tan cotton shorts and the thin cheap t shirts for the crew, white with green lettering front and back. management wears Polo shirts and tan shorts/ skorts, at after hours meetings I will wear a dress most times, the other leaders wear, Polo shirts/ company jackets( thin wind breakers) with the logo.and tan pants. the climbers get away with jeans/ tan pants( usually carhart/Dickie's)every thing has our colors and our logo, every thing, we even did our dog for the parade, she was one green pooch!!! the trailers have my number in 3 foot tall vinyl, green signs, green banners. we are very placement oriented with our advertising, simple, and in your face at every turn, nobody can miss me.

that was my thinking, t-shirts for the crew and polos for management. That way, when your on the site the customer doesn't have to play any many miny moe to pick the leader. Plus, keep it the same and you will stand out more to people.
