Flex Seat vs. current set-up??

I have a Mini Z Honda 24/52 that I bought 2 years ago. It is used to mow approx. 5+ acres of my own residence in upper Bucks County, PA. The ground is extremely bumpy, so when I purchased the machine I also installed Flex forks. Additionally, I installed a [spring] unit under the existing seat.

Question: is the "Flex Seat" different from the "spring unit" referred to above? If so, please elaborate. Any additional dampening to the extremely rough/jarring ground would be welcomed.

The Flex Seat is different, it also is only for the full frame Hustler Z and Super Z units.
It is actually a whole new seat platform (the part your seat bolts to) it has a torsion set up built into it.
