It's a 2006 model. It doesn't have a hour meter but I've used it to mow 6 lawns the last two summers so there isn't too many hours on it.

Will you sell the proslide seperately?

Can't sell the Proslide until I sell the mower. But if someone just buys the mower then I will sell the Proslide seperately.

Is it true that using a sulky other then ProSlide voids your John Deere warranty?

mott413
06-18-2008, 06:47 PM
Not sure, but the Proslide company says it is the only sulky approved by John Deere.

I have one of those little G15s. First commercial mower I bought. Still use it, with the deck all the way up and the chute removed, for smaller bushhog jobs. Good little mower. With the deck down and good blades it cuts better than a lot of other more expensive mowers I've had. Thought about selling it a couple times but can't quite do it.

Free bump. Like to see what you get out of it. Mine's a lot more beat.

Yeah, it cuts great. I don't know why people are afraid to buy John Deere walk behinds?

Its not about the brand JD,JD is a great mower, it is beacuse of the belt drive. :hammerhead:

Yeah, but it would be fine for someone who doesn't mow to many lawns or needed a smaller mower to fit through gates.

lower your asking price a couple more hundred. Look at this mower for sale in the KC area. Its a immaculate machine and look how much he's asking for it. When i saw the price and the mower i immediately called him about it.

Is a 14 hp engine going to pull a 48 inch mower worth a darn?

KCfireman
06-30-2008, 04:46 PM
oh yea it will. I had a 48" w/ a 14hp briggs. It had no trouble cutting grass and it was a brigss. That has a Kaw on it which is better. I think you should lower your price a little bit more...say maybe 1600 with everything and then take best offers from people.

What is the total width, from the outside of the deck on one side to the outside of the deck on the other side? May have to think about it if it will fit through one of my gates.

mott413

Total width is 36.5 inches with the chute up.
