For those who've never seen the TORO cap/ADS valve box.

My German wine drinking customer's unique use of leftover wine corks. Hammered a cork into a broken 1/2" tee. It worked is all I can add.

Corrugated drain pipe as a valve box = :hammerhead:
Running wire in locations where edging can damage it = :hammerhead:
Cork in tee =

Ditto, one site here, too: wonder if Toro sold the pipe, cap & valve as a
package,

I've seen similar for stop valves in these parts, but not for an irrigation valve .... yet.

Prolly not going to see many, as soon as the Texans heard about them,
they sent their scouts all over the country & bought 'em up.

I service several systems with the Toro caps but they all use 4" PVC instead of drain tile. All of them are old Toro hydraulic systems and most of the valves have never needed to be replaced or repaired.

They werent a package, toro sold the top cap as a valve cover. most guys used corrugated piping. here in wilson theres lots of toro, and lots of

4" round valve pipe setups, next to impossible to find without a locator.

most companys stopped using this method of valve boxes in the EARLY 90's, after they realized it was a royal pain for service!!

i'll admit my first install had these type valve boxes. (first and last as well)
