I posted a thread a couple weeks ago about how I should go about removing some rocks. I finally got done and after going at it solo I now know what to do. Anyways here a couple jobs I have done...
This is a sign out in front of a local business..One of my first jobs. I edged pulled weeds and took off the top layer of that terrible mulch.

Another job Rock Removal in which I could care less if i ever see another
river Rock or rock of any kind for that matter ever again after this one ...haha Unfortunately I couldn't get all those weeds out that were in the cracks of the parking lot but hopefully when i go back tomorrow they will all be dead after spraying them with a ton of roundup.

Are you talking about by the sign? I made an edge around it but at some parts i kept hitting rocks because at one point it had the same rocks that were in the other bed and it was terrible. I would try and get the rocks ouit underneath it but it would always run the semi edge I had it really sucked and it really pissed me off.
Looks really great nice work.
Thank you.

Isn't that strange? In the first pics, I had to go back and look at the before pics to see if those shrubs and plants were there. The edging and mulch makes it look like whole new landscaping.

still trying to get this whole edging thing figured out . . . . do you do those beds with a stick edger like you use around side walks and stuff?

I actually used a hand tool sort of thing ill get a pick up of it tonight. Unfortunately the rocks bent it all to hell

Wow some people are really critical on this forum.

but I must say, what a great job doing everything else. And, if I would have to guess, I would say that ground is fairly bumpy, making razor-straight lines (as I have been known to mow) something of an impossibility

Looks good, keep it up! Just one note...your life would be easier and your edges would be crisper (if thats a word?) if you purchased a spade edge. They have them at Lowes, everywhere.

looks Great but how many loads does it take you with that small trailer?

Baseballer1100
06-26-2008, 10:50 AM
I can get two in there maybe three depends on how good the guy using the tractor is. I new trailer is definitely on the way simply because of that.
