I live in central Pa. I am tring to learn about lawn care , but it seems our local experts are interested in selling , more then helping. i have about 3 acres or yard. half is pretty nice grass but has a lot of weeds. the other half is green , but it is more ?? other then grass. last year i tried over seeding the entire lawn with a gas powered over seeder. It didnt do much, really it was a waste of time and money. My soil is not good . I have a 50 gallon sprayer with a 12 foot boom , so if i knew what kind of weed killer or fertlizer to use in it i think it would be easy to put down. is it possable to by seed by the pallet to save money? what time of year do i put the fertlizer on?
