I have a customer that would like all grass clippings removed each mow. I normal do not do this and not sure if I should add a fee for this. I have a bagger and I know it is more work and time. What should this fee be???

Since I bag every yard, I charge like this:

5 dollars to dump a truck load of yard debris

5-10 yards per day

I figure in an extra $5 every yard for the dumping fee. PLUS an extra $5 for fuel and labor.

$5 x 5-10 yards = $25 -50 extra daily income

Thats 125-250 weekly income. The little things add up.

Depends on the amount collected. If you need to dump 5 times. Of course, go up in price. If you have to dump only 2 times. Go ahead and use your judgment.

It really depends on the yard. I could bag one acre and get half a yard of clipping then drive a few houses down and bag 1/2 acre and get 2-3 yards worth of clippings. I pay 40 per ton to dump and have used a formula that works pretty close for me, it is adjusted for each account based on expected growth. Basically $0.25 / K on site and $ 0.45 / K taken gets me pretty close. This obviously would be different for everyone.
